K-Infra will train the Province of Buenos Aires in PPP

K-Infra has been awarded, together with its regional partner VIVEKA, the tender for the selection of an entity specialized in PPP training, convened by the Province of Buenos Aires, a project financed by IDB.

 

The contract consists of the design and delivery of a tailor-made programme based on the CP3P program, including training modules based on the local and national framework, as well as specialised seminars and courses to deepen certain subjects such as PPP contract management, Value for Money analysis or fiscal impact management, among others.

 

The program is aimed at professionals from the Public Investment and PPP Directorate, staff from different ministries that are potential promoters of PPP projects, staff from the different municipalities in the province and staff from supervisory and control bodies and will have a total of more than 300 hours.

Renan Marcondes Fachinatto joins K-infra’s team of CP3P Accredited Trainers

 

K-infra is pleased to announce the incorporation of Renan Marcondes Fachinatto to its team of CP3P Accredited Trainers. Renan has been recently accredited to deliver training in relation to the Foundation level of the PPP Certification Program.

Renan is a senior lawyer with more than 10 years of experience in PPPs and Concessions with main focus on basic sanitation, roads, public transportation, public lighting and education. He worked in the structuring phase of the first basic sanitation government-pays PPP in the State of São Paulo and was head of the legal team in structuring one of the first user-pays PPP models aimed at wastewater treatment for industrial reuse for the Companhia Espírito Santense de Saneamento – CESAN (an  SOE owned by the State of Espírito Santo).

He provides legal support in contract management for several SPVs in user-pays PPPs in the basic sanitation, road and public transportation sector. Renan was a voluntary associate professor at Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo under Professor Augusto Dal Pozzo, MSc supervision for about 5 years and is the Law Firm representative at several Committees in the Basic Sanitation Private Partners Association (“ABCON”) and the Brazilian Association of Infrastructure and Basic Industry (“ABDIB”) as well as a full member of the Brazilian Infrastructure Legal Studies Institute (“IBEJI”).

He is currently partner at Dal Pozzo Advogados Law Firm.

Radar PPP delivers its first edition of the CP3P – Foundation course in Portuguese

 

K-infra’s affiliate to deliver CP3P courses in Brazil, Radar PPP, successfully delivered its first edition of the CP3P – Foundation course in Portuguese with a 100% pass rate.

Radar PPP, with the collaboration of Dal Pozzo Avogados, recently translated Chapter 1 of the PPP Certification Program Guide as well as the CP3P – Foundation exam to Brazilian Portuguese.

Our Brazilian Affiliate, RADAR PPP, translates CP3P to Brazilian Portuguese

As announced by APMG International, in addition to the existing English, Chinese, French, Japanese, Russian and Spanish, the Chapter 1 of the PPP Certification Program (CP3P), as well as the Foundation exam, are now available in Brazilian Portuguese.

Radar PPP, K-infra’s affiliate to deliver CP3P training in Brazil, with the help of Dal Pozzo Avogados has been responsible of the translation. The following professionals have participated:
