New Accredited Trainer to train CP3P©

Hossein H. Nouzard, associate professor at Teheran University, has been successfully accredited as a CP3P© trainer to deliver our CP3P© training courses in different countries in the Middle East and Central Asia.

With a long experience in infrastructures, during the last 10 years he has centered his career in helping to “close the infrastructure gap” worldwide, specially focusing in the use of Public-Private Partnerships for the development and good management of infrastructures.

Success of K-Infra’s first webinar about the “APMG PPP Certification Program”

K-Infra successfully delivered its first webinar about the “APMG PPP Certification ProgramTM” with the collaboration of the IDB and WBG

K-Infra delivered yesterday, February 9, its first webinar about the “APMG PPP Certification ProgramTM”, and innovation of the World Bank Group, the Inter-American Development Bank and other multilaterals to be able to become a professional PPP accredited.

The webinar was given by Andrés Rebollo (CEO of K-Infra and main author of the “PPP Certification Guide”) and included the involvement of Jyoti Bisbey (Infrastructure Finance and PPP Specialist of the PPP Unit at the World Bank Group) and David Richard Bloomgarden (Head of operations of the inclusive cities unit at the Multilateral Investment Fund). 129 people from all over Latin America and Spain attended the webinar.

We’d like to thank all attendees and specially the World Bank Group and the Inter-American Development Bank for their support. We will make available the presentations as well as the access to the recorded video of the most interesting parts of the session in the upcoming days.

A Guide to the Statistical Treatment of PPPs in national accounts

K-Infra adds to its library the guide about Statistical Treatment of PPPs in national accounts

We have added this new guide about the Statistical Treatment of PPP (EPEC 2016) to our library. This new guide has been developed by EPEC and deals with the classification of PPP assets in national accounts according to the SEC 2010 (European System of Accounts) regulations.

The 2010 version, which came in force in 2015, introduced greater precision in the conditions to be fulfilled by the PPP contract for not being considered public asset / public debt, and to a certain extent, higher pressure for risk transfer and limits on public financial support. But we do believe that the result is more positive rather than negative for PPPs, because of the clear benefit of the greater clarity in the rules.

In addition, this Guide includes the invaluable participation of EUROSTAT, through explanations and examples of factors and specific characteristics that may drive or not to the treatment of the asset as a public asset.

The Inter-American Development Bank hires its first PPP training course to K-Infra

K-Infrastructure has been hired by the IDB to deliver its first PPP training course

The Inter-American Development Bank has contracted K-Infra to deliver in-house training for 30 IDB professionals at the Bank’s Washington headquarters, in relation to the foundation level of the PPP Professional Certificate (CP3P).

This is the second assignment for PPP training that K-Infra has received from MDBs after the training recently delivered to the World Bank.

K-Infra & Maxwell Stamp collaborate to deliver CP3P training in GCC countries

Maxwell Stamp KSA and K-Infra signs collaboration agreement to deliver CP3P training in GCC countries

K-Infra and Maxwell Stamp, Saudi Arabian office (MSKSA), have signed a collaboration agreement to provide preparatory training for the CP3P© Program in the Middle East region, specifically in the countries that make up the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC).

Through this agreement, MSKSA will act as an Affiliate Training Organization to K-Infra, offering and providing preparatory training for the PPP Certification Program to its clients, based on the materials and methodology developed by K-Infra, as an Accredited Training Organization by APMG. K-Infra will provide know how and technical support to MSKSA. MSKSA becomes in this way K-Infra’s first affiliate organization, with whose collaboration we hope to implant our PPP training approach in this region of the globe.

Richard Kupisz, MSKSA Chief Executive, will lead the CP3P© training offering in the region. Richard was one of the main reviewers of the PPP Certification Guide.
