K-infra and Foster Infrastructure reorganize their CP3P business

K-infra and @Foster Infrastructure joined forces in 2016 to develop the best approach to specialized CP3P training, the @PPP Certification Program managed by @APMG and created by the leading multilateral agencies.  

We did this through a strategic agreement by which both firms have jointly developed their CP3P materials and resources and collaborated in spreading the CP3P standards.

Asper as today, K-Infra with it’s affiliates have trained +40 entities and +4355 candidates worldwide under the CP3P program.

After 5 years of fruitful collaboration, we have decided to take a further step in the evolution of our businesses, with K-infra taking full ownership of the jointly developed CP3P materials and resources. This strengthens K-Infra’s position to deliver CP3P training programs, as well as other PPP course programs designed by K-Infra. As a consequence of this transaction, Foster Infrastructure has become a shareholder of K-Infra.  

According to Richard Foster, CEO of Foster Infrastructure, “The COVID-19 pandemic has led to rapid growth in online training. K-Infra has the team and the systems required to support this format. K-Infra is therefore the logical organization to lead the delivery of future CP3P training and is the natural owner of the associated CP3P materials and resources. This transaction enables Foster Infrastructure to remain focused on what it does best: Providing quality infrastructure advice to policy-makers and project proponents and sharing our knowledge through training.” Richard Foster will continue to be a K-Infra sponsored CP3P trainer and will contribute to the further development of K-Infra’s training materials and the expansion of its PPP training offering.

Informative Webinar on the APMG CP3P Program

We will explain the origin and objectives of the PPP Certification Program, designed by the most relevant IFIs and MDBs at global level with the support of APMG.

Andrés Rebollo is the main responsible for the design of K-Infra´s PPP courses. Ex-Partner Head of Infrastructure & PPP in Deloitte Spain (until 2014), and previously Adeinfra founder (acquired by Deloitte in 2008).

Amandeep Singh Virk

Amandeep works as an Independent Consultant specialized in PPP and he is a leading international PPP transaction advisor with +21 years of experience.

He has played multiple roles in value chain of PPP projects from ‘concept-to-commissioning’ as well as project monitoring support. His expertise covers formulation of PPP regulatory frameworks, project screening & prioritization, feasibility studies/business cases, PPP transactions through to financial close and PPP capacity building. He has steered more than 60 PPP projects/programs across different sectors viz-a-viz transport, renewable energy, healthcare, education, accommodation, solid waste management, water supply & sanitation, tourism, agriculture and sports infrastructure.

Jean-François Gautier

Jean-Francois Gautier holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Paris Dauphine. He has a 20 years professional experience in Finance and Economics. He has been working in investment banking and for several development institutions such as the World Bank, the French Development Agency (AFD), the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD), the OECD, the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), the French Cooperation State Department. Over these years, he has specialized into Project Finance, PPP, Municipal Finance, Economics and Statistics studies. He has been involved in the financing of Energy, Infrastructure, Utilities, Social projects in Europe, Middle East, Africa and in the USA. He has also been teaching in Sciences-Po Paris and University Paris Dauphine and holds the CP3P trainer accreditation.

Taras Boichuk

Taras, Partner Director at SPILNO (Ukraine), the PPP unit of the government of Ukraine is our lead trainer for CP3P trainings in Russian. He is the leader of the Ukrainian PPP Unit, where he has led the preparation and implementation of the Ukrainian pilot PPP projects in the seaport and airport sectors, and provided legal support to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade to work on the new Concession Law adopted in October 2019. Taras is an accredited trainer in Foundation and certified in Foundation, Preparation and Execution.
