PPP Expert (CP3P) Foundation training for government officials from Senegal

Excited to share that a virtual CP3P Foundation level training in French was recently completed for Senegalese officials, with the support of the World Bank and delivered by the renowned expert, Jean Francois Gautier, currently Senior Portfolio Manager at Dexia and CP3P accredited trainer at K-infra. The training aimed to provide a strong foundation in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project preparation and implementation for Senegalese officials.

The CP3P Foundation level training is the first level of the PPP Expert (CP3P) Certification program by APMG. This program, is a critical training to support countries in building their PPP capacities and attracting private investment for sustainable and inclusive growth. The primary goal of this training was to ensure that all the participants have a shared understanding of the basic principles and terminology of PPPs.

The virtual format of this training allowed high-level officials from the Senegalese government to participate from the comfort of their own offices and learn from one of the best in the field. Participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the basic understanding of the PPP process and terminology and acquired knowledge and skills in public-private partnerships modalities, structuring and regulatory approaches that will help strengthen the PPP environment in the country.

The virtual training was well received, and participants left with a solid foundation in PPPs and the tools and techniques needed to prepare and implement successful PPP projects.
